While driving I saw the cooking school sign. OMG !! We have to attend this. So My friends Lori and Kim went. Sibylle was easy to work with and extremely experienced. We made an
authenticate Costa Rica meal. Appetizer, salad, entree, and dessert. We cooked it all, ate it on the patio. The most gorgeous view I saw in Costa Rica was right in Sibylles yard, just
breath taking. It was like a picture post card. Over all I would rate it a 5 star experience but understand it is all rustic. I would definitely return for another cooking class next
visit. Thank you, Sibylle for a wonderful memory.

Andy and I are visiting Costa Rica for our 10 year anniversary. When we asked experienced friends and locals about the Pelicano Cooking School, we were highly encouraged to attend. We
consulted with Sybil to create our own custom menu as I have gluten and dairy sensitivities. The class was relaxed, fun and informative. We learned much about Costa Rican food and
culture. The food we prepared was wonderful. Enjoying it with good conversation overlooking the ocean was even better! We are already planning a dinner to share our new recipes with
family and friends. Thank you, Sybil and Jochan for your wonderful hospitality!

We spent four nights at Casas Pelicano in December 2014 as part of our honeymoon trip. As Sibylle prepared a wonderful dinner for us on our first night, we decided to take a cooking class
with her. We discussed together what we would like to prepare: in our case, we wanted to cook with seafood and ended up preparing two small entries, followed by a main course and a
dessert. During our cooking class, we benefited from her tremendous cooking experience and she also gave us insights into regional products and recipes. The food tasted delicious and
afterwards we received all the recipes. For sure, we will try to cook the menu again at home!
